Show Highlights

Time for A Divorce?

A recent article in the Federalist said it was time for the United States to get a divorce and even quotes America’s Declaration of Independence. The supporting arguments for the divorce are very typical of arguments in 2018 but also highlight why America is completely different from every other nation in the history of the world.

The argument given focuses on your rights, but there is no mention of responsibility which America founders included TWICE in the opening two paragraphs of your Declaration. Secondly, the article continues by highlighting the problems with the left. It is easy to highlight what you don’t like in society – People and nations have been doing it since the dawn of time and even a six-month-old baby. America’s founders were exceptional because they told you what they were FOR before they highlighted their many grievances against the King.

Free Speech

When Barbara Bush passed away last week, most people on social media shared their sorrow and grieve with the family.  There were some exceptions, including a professor from Fresno State who was happy she had died. As you can imagine there was a major backlash including many calling for her firing.

Principles and free speech are the east to support when you like and agree with them. It takes real honor to stand for principles and speech when you disagree with them and find them morally disgusting.

Christian Privilege

George Washington University recently ran a seminar titled Christian Privilege. Are Christian’s privileged? YES. As a Christian I considered myself blessed to know that God sends down his only son to teach us, to be put to death for our sins and for our salvation. The great thing about this privilege is ANYONE can have it as we don’t care about your age, race, color, gender.

However, there is an agenda behind this seminar and seeks to divide people. The answer is the same today as it has been since the dawn of time and said by many famous people including a black pastor you may have heard off – JUDGE A MAN BY THE CONTENT OF HIS CHARACTER, everything else is irrelevant.

Just Show UP!!!

If you follow my social media, you know I work out in the gym 6 times a week lifting weights. I got asked this week how I do it and how I stay motivated. The honest answer is I show up. Are there days I am excited to go to the gym and I love working out? YES, and anyone can train on that day.

However most days I am tired, sore, too busy and would do anything to avoid going to the gym but I go anyways. Show up and when you are there focus on your goal and that will motivate you. This is what separates the winners from the losers.
