Personal Side of Immigration Debate
America is still discussing Immigration Reform. I want to respond to some of the reasons your politicians and media are saying you need it. Today I address Bill O’Reilly saying America should be compassionate, Jeb Bush’s line of them acting out of love, Nancy Pelosi’s 8-hour speech, Trumps Chief of Staff saying Trump is the champion for Daca. America for me has always been the exceptional nation where if you worked hard, played by the rules you had the best opportunity for success – Is that still the case?
Super Bowl Reaction – Causation v Correlation
Last week the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl and decided it would be cool to destroy their city in celebration. Social media was filled with reaction to this from all sides as some were saying welcome to Trumps America and others what would you expect from a democratically run city. I want to explain the difference between causation and correlation for your arguments.
It is reported President Trump wants a military parade and it seems there is a lot of support for this idea. I wanted to take a step back and look at the optics of a military parade for the world? Can America afford it? I also offer some ways you can actually honor your brave men and women.
Economics – Why is the stock market going down?
There are some questions about the stock market following some bad days trading and some are saying it’s a bubble and it is popping. I want to break down what is actually happening using the analogy of a household budget.
