Chambliss: Rice Didn’t Lie, But Put ‘SOFTER TOUCH’ on Benghazi
JD: This is exactly the problem with the Republican Party. Today’s Republican Party put politics and party ahead of Principles and the American People. It may not be popular in today’s politics but the truth will set you free. Susan Rice went onto 5 TV shows saying the attack was over a video and would not call it an act of terrorism. She lied and it as simple as that because the White House knew straight away. Contrary to what some Democrats think, this is not a racist or sexist attack on Susan Rice, it is the TRUTH and the truth is the least the friends and families of the 4 dead Americans deserve. I would also ask Republicans to start focusing on President Obama and trying to get information on him during this attack like – where was he? What was he doing? What were his orders? If he ordered help, where was it? And if he did not order assistance, why not and did he change his mind during the attack? Also has the $2 million for security upgrades in Embassy overseas been spend yet? And if not, when will it be spend?
Susan Rice was not lying, but rather putting a “softer touch” on the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) said Friday. Chambliss spoke just ahead of a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing at which Gen. David Petraeus is to testify on the attack that killed four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador to the North African nation. View full article here.
